How long are parties?
Most parties run about one hour long.

Where are parties held?
We come to you. Most parties are held in homes, club houses, or local recreation rooms. We recommend holding our event indoors.
What should I prepare?
You will need to have an open space indoors. A typical living room works fine as long as furniture is pushed back. We recommend hosting our parties indoors but we can make adjustments for outdoor parties.
Outdoor Parties: If the weather is nice, you may take the party outdoors to a clean, non-grassy, non-dirt area such as a patio, deck, or garage. The children will not be permitted to go into grassy or dirt areas while in attire and accessories provided. We reserve the right to determine if the outdoor area is suitable for our equipment. In addition, please have an indoor back-up location available to accommodate all guests in case of inclement weather conditions. Remember that children may not want to dress up and may not enjoy the party as much if it is hot and humid outside. Please advise us of the possibility of an outdoor party in advance.
Please Note: Our Ballet Party must be held indoors.
How do I reserve a party?
Complete the internet form, send us an email, or call us at 408.564.6067. We will contact you to complete booking information.
How far in advance should I book my party?
We recommend you schedule your event at least 3 weeks in advance to ensure we can accommodate your desired date and time. We do accept reservations with less notice if we have openings.
How is payment arranged?
Upon confirmation of date availability a $50 deposit will be required. The balance is due at conclusion of party. Please make checks payable to CLAP Arts. Sorry we do not accept credit cards. Gratuities are most appreciated and may be given directly to your event performer.
When do you need the final RSVP count?
We will need your final guest count at least 5 business days before your party. This includes the breakdown of boys and girls. Unfortunately, we are not able to lower your party fee after your final RSVP count for guests who do not show.
What if our guests bring siblings?
Please include any siblings in the final guest count if you would like them to participate in our activities.
When do you arrive?
Our performer will arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up.
What do you provide at a party?
We provide a performer, costumes and props for children to use, music.
Do you provide food, table settings, balloons?
We do not provide food, table settings or balloons.
Do you have things for boys?
All our parties accommodate both girls and boys.
What happens if guests are late?
We typically schedule our performer to arrive 30 minutes after your party has started to allow for late arrivals. Our performer will need to start at the scheduled party start time.
What if I need to cancel an event?
Written notice to cancel is generally required a week or more in advance to receive a refund of the deposit. Cancellations given within a week of the event will not receive a refund of the deposit.
